541 is a pay-it-forward cafe in Hamilton where everyone is welcome.

Through our Button Program, guests can donate a little to help someone else enjoy a healthy meal - no questions asked.

But we’re more than a cafe.

We create space for connection, dignity, and community. We help neighbours face the challenges of poverty, isolation, and injustice. We partner with groups like CMHA and Hamilton Bike Share, and run youth programs in the afternoon after our doors close to the public.
